Comparison review

The LG Velvet is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with an 87.1 score against 84.3. Even though the LG Velvet is a bit heavier than LG G8 ThinQ, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better performance than LG Velvet. They have a Octa-Core processor and a 6 GB RAM. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and more pixels per inch of display.

The LG G8 ThinQ and the LG Velvet feature similar storage capacity to install applications and games, both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and equal internal storage capacity. LG Velvet features a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light images, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot better resolution back camera and a way bigger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.

LG Velvet features longer battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs more money than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG Velvet, else you can save some dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning a couple specifications.
