Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a general score of 85.3, which is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 global score. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 design is newer and notably thinner than LG G8 ThinQ's, although it's way heavier. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the previous 11 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
LG G8 ThinQ and Microsoft Surface Duo 2 count with incredibly similar processors, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The LG G8 ThinQ features a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a much smaller screen, a bit lower 1440 x 3120px resolution and way less brightness, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch.
LG G8 ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ captures clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger diafragm aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
