Comparison review

The Motorola edge is just a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ, having an 89.6 score against 84.3. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Motorola edge has 10 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Motorola edge is newer than the LG G8 ThinQ, it's heavier and somewhat thicker.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a little better processing power than Motorola edge. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution.

Motorola edge has a much better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also counts with a lot bigger sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a way better resolution camera in the back.

The Motorola edge has slightly more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a SD card slot that holds up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage. The Motorola edge counts with longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Motorola edge, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning some features and specifications.
