Comparison review
Motorola Edge (2022) is a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ, having a score of 84.7 against 84.3. Motorola Edge (2022)'s construction is notably newer and a little bit thinner, but just a little bit heavier than LG G8 ThinQ. These phones use Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge (2022) has an older 12 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The LG G8 ThinQ has just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2022). Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores. The LG G8 ThinQ features a more vivid display than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.
The Motorola Edge (2022) shoots much clearer photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge (2022) also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Motorola Edge (2022), and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge (2022) has a superior battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 43 percent more battery size.
Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Motorola Edge (2022), otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features.
