Comparison review

The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge 40's general score of 77.2. These phones come with Android operating system, but LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, giving you a couple nice extra features. The LG G8 ThinQ body weights the same than Motorola Edge 40, but it's just a bit thicker.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a little more vivid display than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has much lower brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG G8 ThinQ has an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Motorola Edge 40 captures better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light photography, a much more mega-pixels camera and a much larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.

LG G8 ThinQ features a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 40 has greater battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
