LG G8 ThinQ has an overall score of 84.3, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50 Neo's global score of 81.9. These devices include Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 50 Neo has Android 14, providing a couple additional features. Despite of the fact LG G8 ThinQ is much older and just a bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, it's design is still just a bit lighter.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo counts with a little sharper screen than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1256 x 2760 and a little worse pixels density, it also counts with a much brighter display and a bit bigger display. LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a much greater processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or video in poorly lited environments and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera and a way bigger sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo has better battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 23 percent larger battery size.
