Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 9 has Android 11, so it provides you some nice extra features. LG G8 ThinQ's design is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 9, even though it was released many years before.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much better display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher pixels density. LG G8 ThinQ features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 9, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The OnePlus 9 has a processing unit that's very similar to LG G8 ThinQ's processing unit, and although the OnePlus 9 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. OnePlus 9 counts with a greater camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting images or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a lot higher video quality, a way better resolution back camera and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
