LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, getting an 84.3 score against 77.4. LG G8 ThinQ is a lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, but both have the same thickness. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A15 5G has Android 14 version, offering a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The LG G8 ThinQ counts with an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit sharper display than Galaxy A15 5G, because although it has a lot more opaque display and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a better pixel amount per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G captures slightly better photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light captures, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G counts with a superior battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
LG G8 ThinQ costs a little more money than Galaxy A15 5G, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
