The LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than Galaxy A40, having an 84.3 score against 79.6. Although it's the best in this review, the LG G8 ThinQ is a just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Galaxy A40. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy A40, because it has a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a quite bigger display and more pixels per inch in the screen.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy A40, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 13% greater battery capacity.

The LG G8 ThinQ takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a back camera with much less megapixels, it also counts with a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs, a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
