Comparison review

The Galaxy A51 is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, with an 85.5 score against 84.3. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A51 has an older 11 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy A51's body is a little bit heavier but just a little thinner than LG G8 ThinQ, and they were released with only 9 months difference.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM. LG G8 ThinQ features a sharper display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher pixels number in each inch of display.

LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A51 captures much clearer photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a lot smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way larger sensor capturing much better quality photos and a back camera with much more mega pixels.

The Galaxy A51 has just a little bit longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs more than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G8 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
