Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has a score of 90.8, which is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 overall score. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has older 11 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy A51 5G's body is newer, but heavier and just a little thicker than LG G8 ThinQ.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A51 5G. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a greater pixels density.

LG G8 ThinQ features a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 29% greater battery capacity.

The Galaxy A51 5G captures better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate and a much tinier aperture which is not good for shooting images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy A51 5G also counts with a much more megapixels back camera and a way larger camera sensor.

Although Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, else you can save some dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a couple specifications.
