Comparison review

The Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is better than LG G8 ThinQ's general score of 84.3. These phones work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). The Galaxy Fold body is somewhat thinner but a lot heavier than LG G8 ThinQ, and both of them were released only a few months apart.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a much better display pixels density. Galaxy Fold features a bit better processing power than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a little bit better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a F1.5 camera aperture, a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.

The Galaxy Fold has longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 25% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning a couple features and specs.
