The LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy M20's global score of 78.9. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy M20 has Android 10, so it counts with some additional features and enhanced performance. Even though the LG G8 ThinQ and Galaxy M20 were released with only a few months difference, the LG G8 ThinQ is a little thinner and lighter.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better screen than Galaxy M20, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a greater pixels density. The LG G8 ThinQ has much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M20, because it has more internal memory and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M20, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ features a better camera than Galaxy M20, because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much higher (4K) video quality and a lot larger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.

Samsung Galaxy M20 features a very superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
