The Samsung Galaxy S20 is much better than the LG G8 ThinQ, getting a score of 94.8 against 84.3. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has 13 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy S20 body is newer, just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the LG G8 ThinQ.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit sharper display than Galaxy S20, although it has a little worse 1440 x 3120px resolution, a little bit inferior pixels amount per inch in the screen and a little smaller screen. LG G8 ThinQ features more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Galaxy S20 counts with a little faster processor than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy S20 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S20 takes clearer photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and videos, and they both have a back camera with a 12 mega pixels, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a lot higher video quality and a lot bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S20, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specifications.
