Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is better than LG G8 ThinQ, with a score of 98 against 84.3. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has 13 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is newer than LG G8 ThinQ, it's heavier and just a little thicker.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has just a little better performance than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has 6 GB more RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3120, it also counts with a bit better pixel count in each inch of screen.

The LG G8 ThinQ features more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a lot better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos, a camera with way more megapixels and a much higher 7680x4320 video definition.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a very superior battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the LG G8 ThinQ, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
