The Galaxy S22 is better than LG G8 ThinQ, with a score of 93.4 against 84.3. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S22 has an older 13 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy S22 is a just a little bit thinner cellphone than LG G8 ThinQ, but both of them weight 5.89oz.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a bit sharper display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a much lower pixels density, and they both have a same size screen, the Samsung Galaxy S22 also counts with way more brightness. The LG G8 ThinQ has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S22, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S22, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a bit better battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S22, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, letting go some specifications.
