LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 84.3 score against 78.1. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, giving a couple nice extra features. Although LG G8 ThinQ is way newer than Galaxy S5 Plus, it is a little bit thicker and heavier.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster) and 4 GB more RAM. The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better looking display than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a larger display, a higher pixel count in each inch of screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.

The LG G8 ThinQ features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. The LG G8 ThinQ shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a way less mega pixels resolution back camera, and they both have the same sensor size, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture to capture better images in low light situations.

The LG G8 ThinQ has superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
