Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 overall score. Galaxy S6 Edge is an a lot older device than the LG G8 ThinQ, but it is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter anyway. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little sharper screen than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a bit lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density.

LG G8 ThinQ shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a way less megapixels resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, and they both have the same sensor size, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a much bigger aperture. LG G8 ThinQ counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, resigning some features and specs.
