The LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than Galaxy S9, with an 84.3 score against 83.3. LG G8 ThinQ's body has the same thickness than the Galaxy S9, but it's a bit heavier. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy S9, because although it has a quite worse pixel amount in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. LG G8 ThinQ features much more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy S9 shoots clearer photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same (4K) video resolution, a same size camera aperture and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy S9 also has a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

LG G8 ThinQ has just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although LG G8 ThinQ is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S9. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S9, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
