Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ has a score of 84.3, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia 1 VI's score of 83.2. Both devices we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia 1 VI has Android 14 version. LG G8 ThinQ features a brighter display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little worse 1440 x 3120 resolution, a little bit smaller display and a little worse pixel density.
LG G8 ThinQ features a very superior processing power than Xperia 1 VI, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Sony Xperia 1 VI has a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xperia 1 VI features a much longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh. Xperia 1 VI has a lot better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with better 120 frames per second video frame rate, a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality.
