Comparison review
LG G8 ThinQ has a score of 84.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 general score. Even though the LG G8 ThinQ and Xperia XZ2 Premium were released with only a few months difference, the LG G8 ThinQ is much lighter and noticeably thinner. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a processing unit that is just as good as LG G8 ThinQ's processor, both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a brighter display, more pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840px. The LG G8 ThinQ has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal storage.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger camera sensor.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the LG G8 ThinQ is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
