LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than the Xperia Z4v, with a overall score of 84.3 against 78.8. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and improved performance. LG G8 ThinQ's construction is notably newer and a little thinner than the Xperia Z4v's, although it is also just a little heavier.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit faster CPU than Xperia Z4v, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia Z4v counts with a bit more vivid display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a little worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater display density.

The Sony Xperia Z4v shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.

LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.
