The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. Even though LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it's just a bit lighter and also newer. These phones work with Android operating system, but LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, providing the user lots of additional features and some performance improvements.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher resolution of 3840 x 2160. The LG G8 ThinQ has a little faster processor than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with 3 GB more RAM.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z5 Premium shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture and lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a battery lifetime that is very similar to LG G8 ThinQ's battery lifetime, although the Xperia Z5 Premium has a 2% smaller battery size.

In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the LG G8 ThinQ is also by far the cheapest one, making it an easy decision.
