Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro's 82.9 global score. LG G8 ThinQ is a lighter and just a little thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, even though both were only released with a couple months difference. Both of these phones work with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
LG G8 ThinQ features a sharper display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density, a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a brighter screen. The LG G8 ThinQ has a superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a bit better processor than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a bit better battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
