Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is slightly better than LG G8 ThinQ, getting a global score of 88.3 against 84.3. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 construction is newer, but way heavier and thicker than LG G8 ThinQ. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has an older 11 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has more RAM. The LG G8 ThinQ has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has much worse brightness and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixels count in each screen inch.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a much better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photographs and a much more MP back facing camera.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with superior battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
