LG G8 ThinQ has a global score of 84.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9's overall score of 83.2. Even though LG G8 ThinQ and Xiaomi Mi 9 were released with only a few months difference, LG G8 ThinQ's body is a bit lighter but just a bit thicker. LG G8 ThinQ and Xiaomi Mi 9 feature very similar processing units, both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same brightness, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a better pixel count in each screen inch. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a much larger sensor and a much more megapixels back camera.
