LG G8 ThinQ has an overall score of 84.3, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's general score of 76. LG G8 ThinQ is a newer phone than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but it's just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, providing you a couple additional features.

LG G8 ThinQ has a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a bit bigger display and a better pixels density. The LG G8 ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 4 more CPU cores.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a back facing camera with much less MP resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, and they both have the same sensor size, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a much bigger aperture for better low-light photography and video.
