LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than Xiaomi Poco X2, having a general score of 84.3 against 79.3. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Poco X2 has Android 11, offering lots of additional features. The LG G8 ThinQ design is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Xiaomi Poco X2, although it was released about 10 months before.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Poco X2. Both of them have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Poco X2 counts with superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a much tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting images and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a much higher 64 MP resolution camera and a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality.
