LG G8S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than Huawei Nova 9's 81 global score. The LG G8S ThinQ construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Nova 9, but it's just a little bit heavier. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8S ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei Nova 9 has Android 11 version, giving you some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
The LG G8S ThinQ has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels density. The LG G8S ThinQ has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ has a bit better processing power than Huawei Nova 9, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. Huawei Nova 9 takes much clearer videos and photos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Nova 9 also counts with a camera with a lot better 50 MP resolution.
Huawei Nova 9 counts with improved battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity instead of 3550mAh.
