Comparison review
The LG G8S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro's overall score of 81.4. LG G8S ThinQ is a just a bit heavier cellphone than the Huawei P20 Pro, but both of them are equally thin. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features.
LG G8S ThinQ has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro. They have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM amount. LG G8S ThinQ features a little sharper display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2248 resolution and a bit larger display.
Huawei P20 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size camera aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way higher resolution back camera.
The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8S ThinQ also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Huawei P20 Pro features a little longer battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
