Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than the LG G8S ThinQ, getting an 88.2 score against 82.5. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version while LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei P40 Pro's body is newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than LG G8S ThinQ.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in LG G8S ThinQ, and although the Huawei P40 Pro has 2 GB more RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit better display than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a quite higher display density, a little larger display and a slightly better 1200 x 2640 resolution.
LG G8S ThinQ has a much greater storage for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei P40 Pro captures a lot better photos and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and video, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
The Huawei P40 Pro has improved battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 3550mAh.
