LG G8S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is a bit better than the LG Q70's general score of 77.9. Despite of the fact that LG G8S ThinQ is older than LG Q70, it's construction is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. Both devices we are comparing here include Android OS, but the LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Q70 has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than LG Q70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8S ThinQ also has more RAM memory. The LG G8S ThinQ has a little bit better screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
LG Q70 shoots a bit better photos and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the LG Q70 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than LG Q70, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8S ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The LG Q70 has just a bit better battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 13 percent larger battery capacity.
