The LG G8S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's score of 77.2. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, so it counts with a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. Despite being the best in this review, LG G8S ThinQ's construction is extremely older, just a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 40.
The LG G8S ThinQ has an extremely better CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Motorola Edge 40 features a bit sharper display than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a little bigger screen and a just a bit better pixel density.
Motorola Edge 40 has a better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a lot more MP camera and a much larger camera aperture. LG G8S ThinQ has a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Motorola Edge 40 features improved battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 3550mAh.
