LG G8S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), getting an 82.5 score against 78.9. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has Android 14, so it provides some additional features.
LG G8S ThinQ features a little bit better looking display than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels, it also counts with a bit better display pixels density. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) features longer battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.
