Comparison review
LG G8S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A40's global score of 79.6. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8S ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, providing you some nice extra features. The LG G8S ThinQ body has the same thickness than Galaxy A40, but it is noticeably heavier.
Galaxy A40 and LG G8S ThinQ count with similar screens, because although the Galaxy A40 has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a little higher pixel density. LG G8S ThinQ features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The LG G8S ThinQ features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. LG G8S ThinQ features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in poorly lited situations and a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
