Comparison review
The Xperia 1 V has a general score of 82.7, which is a bit better than the LG G8S ThinQ's score of 82.5. Xperia 1 V's construction is extremely newer, but a little heavier and a little thicker than the LG G8S ThinQ. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 V has an older 13 version and LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xperia 1 V has a bit better looking screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a little larger display. LG G8S ThinQ has a superior storage to store more games and applications than Xperia 1 V, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much faster CPU than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Sony Xperia 1 V has a superior battery life than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3550mAh. Xperia 1 V shoots greater pictures and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia 1 V also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back and higher video frame rate.
