Comparison review
Xperia 5 III is a bit better than the LG G8S ThinQ, getting a 90.5 score against 82.5. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Xperia 5 III has the previous 11 version while LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xperia 5 III's body is newer and a little lighter than the LG G8S ThinQ's, but it's also a little thicker.
The Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a CPU that's very similar to LG G8S ThinQ's processing unit, and although the Sony Xperia 5 III has a higher amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xperia 5 III counts with a little sharper screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a just a bit better screen pixels density.
The Xperia 5 III takes a bit better photographs and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 12 MP resolution back facing camera, the Xperia 5 III also has a bigger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations and better 120 frames per second video frame rates.
The Xperia 5 III has a slightly better memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory. Sony Xperia 5 III counts with greater battery duration than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3550mAh.
