Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than the LG G8S ThinQ, having an 83.3 score against 82.5. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version while LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the LG G8S ThinQ, although it was released about 13 months before.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little more vivid screen than LG G8S ThinQ. They have a display of the same size, a better pixels quantity in each inch in the display and exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a processor that is just as good as the LG G8S ThinQ one, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a camera that's very similar to the LG G8S ThinQ one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has lower 30 fps video frame rates, they both have a same size aperture, a same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4 percent bigger battery capacity.
