Comparison review
The LG G8S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G's 80.8 general score. Even though the LG G8S ThinQ is older than the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, it's design is a little lighter and somewhat thinner. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has Android 11, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.
The LG G8S ThinQ has a little sharper display than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, although it has a little bit smaller display, a bit worse 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution and a just a bit worse pixels density. LG G8S ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G features a really longer battery lifetime than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 41 percent bigger battery size.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has just a bit better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
