The Apple iPhone 12 has an overall score of 88.7, which is just a bit better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 general score. Apple iPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x OS, and LG G8X ThinQ works with Android 10 OS. Apple iPhone 12's body is newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than LG G8X ThinQ. The iPhone 12 features a better performing processing unit than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor.
The Apple iPhone 12 counts with a better display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better amount of pixels in each inch in the screen and a bit higher 1170 x 2532 resolution. The LG G8X ThinQ features a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPhone 12, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ has a bit better camera than iPhone 12, although it has a smaller camera aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rate. LG G8X ThinQ features a really longer battery performance than iPhone 12, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2815mAh.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8X ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12, else you can save some money and buy the LG G8X ThinQ, resigning a couple features and specifications.
