Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is slightly better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 global score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro body is just a little lighter than LG G8X ThinQ, although it's just a little thicker and was released just a bit over a year before. The LG G8X ThinQ has a bit superior CPU than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM and 8 cores.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit better screen than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a greater pixel density and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG G8X ThinQ has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 5% more battery size. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specifications.
