Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 global score. The Huawei Mate X is an a lot heavier and a lot thicker device than the LG G8X ThinQ. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, counting with some nice extra features and better performance.
LG G8X ThinQ features a bit better processing unit than Huawei Mate X, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei Mate X features a slightly better looking display than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better 2200 x 2480 resolution and a bigger screen.
The LG G8X ThinQ features a better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much tinier back camera sensor which gives a lot lower photo and video quality and a back facing camera with way less megapixels, they both have a same size aperture. Huawei Mate X has slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit better battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8X ThinQ, resigning a couple specifications.
