Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than LG G8X ThinQ, with a general score of 86.4 against 82.7. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. Huawei P40's design has the same thickness than LG G8X ThinQ, but it's just a bit lighter.
The Huawei P40 features a processor that's very similar to LG G8X ThinQ's processing unit, both of them have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. Huawei P40 has a little more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Huawei P40 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei P40 captures much better photos and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking images and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking way higher quality photos and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G8X ThinQ features just a little better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3800mAh.
The Huawei P40 is a little more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
