LG G8X ThinQ has an overall score of 82.7, which is just a bit better than LG G5's score of 76.1. Even though LG G8X ThinQ is way newer than LG G5, it is heavier and thicker. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the LG G8X ThinQ has 10 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG G5, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The LG G5 has a bit sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per display inch.
LG G8X ThinQ features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than LG G5, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The LG G8X ThinQ features a superior battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
LG G8X ThinQ captures clearer pictures and videos than LG G5, because although it has a camera with a much worse resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
