The LG G8X ThinQ is a bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, with an 82.7 score against 81. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the LG G8X ThinQ has an older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. LG G8X ThinQ's construction is newer than the LG G7 ThinQ's, but it is somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.

The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a better looking screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120px. LG G8X ThinQ has a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.

LG G8X ThinQ has a little better processing power than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. LG G8X ThinQ counts with superior battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery size. The LG G7 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution and a larger aperture for better images and video in low light environments.

Although LG G8X ThinQ is a better device, it costs more money than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G7 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G7 ThinQ, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
