Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having a score of 85.3 against 82.7. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a newer and extremely thinner phone than LG G8X ThinQ, although it's way heavier. These phones include Android OS, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the newer 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a little more vivid display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a bit worse pixel amount per inch of screen, it also counts with a larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1892 x 2688 pixels. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a processor that is very similar to the LG G8X ThinQ one, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photographs or videos in low-light situations, they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G8X ThinQ, resigning a couple specs and features.
