Comparison review
Motorola Edge (2022) has an overall score of 84.7, which is slightly better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 score. Motorola Edge (2022) is a newer phone, and it's also just a little bit thinner and lighter than LG G8X ThinQ. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Motorola Edge (2022) has newer 12 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, giving you a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a bit better looking display than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each display inch. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge (2022), and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ features just a little better processing power than Motorola Edge (2022). Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Motorola Edge (2022) features improved battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Motorola Edge (2022) shoots much clearer videos and photos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge (2022) also has a camera with much more MP.
Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2022), else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G8X ThinQ, resigning a couple specifications.
