The LG G8X ThinQ is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, getting an 82.7 score against 77.4. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8X ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A15 5G has Android 14. LG G8X ThinQ's design has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, but it is just a little lighter.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy A15 5G features a little more vivid display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a just a little lower pixels count per display inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy A15 5G also counts with a bit larger screen.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy A15 5G shoots clearer photos and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy A15 5G also counts with a much better 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G counts with superior battery life than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The LG G8X ThinQ costs a bit more than the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
