Comparison review
LG G8X ThinQ is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A40, getting a global score of 82.7 against 79.6. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8X ThinQ has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11. LG G8X ThinQ's body is a bit thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy A40.
LG G8X ThinQ has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory. LG G8X ThinQ and Samsung Galaxy A40 have quite similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy A40 has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
The LG G8X ThinQ captures slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures and videos and a much worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way better video quality and a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy A40, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory. LG G8X ThinQ counts with superior battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
