Comparison review

The Galaxy A51 is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having a overall score of 85.5 against 82.7. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A51 has a more recent 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10. The Galaxy A51 design is a little thinner and lighter than LG G8X ThinQ, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference.

LG G8X ThinQ features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, although it has a quite smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite worse screen density. LG G8X ThinQ features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G8X ThinQ features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy A51 has a much better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a much bigger sensor and a much higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy A51 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery lifetime in LG G8X ThinQ.

Although Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs more money than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy A51, else you can save some money and get the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up some specifications.
